Here are two pictures that Blueoak ask me to post for him. He can fill us in on the hunt down there. Congrats to you Dave and I'm guessing your Dad on the hunt.
The picture with two bucks is my dad and brother-inlaw. Dads buck was 29inch and the other is 32. Both have 61/2 inch bases and carry the weight up. the scores were 184 and 196. My buck is 38 wide and 5 3/4 inch bases. It scored 193. It is weak on the left. I shot him at 348 yards quartering away. Never had much time to look at him, it happened real fast. I saw does and ranged them, he stepped out sideways, I said big deal. He turned away and I said Sht.. Then he looked right at me and I chambered a round. He was headed out and I nailed him. I was thinking I might finally have got the thirty. No ground srink this time. I put him out in the shop with the rest of them and wow does he stick out. By the way he is and honest 38 and change on the frame the cheater wasn't used. Next I will be lookin for a toad like Jasons!
wow, blue....you done outdid yourself this time...very, very nice...would really love (please, please, please) to see some more pics of all 3 of those big boys....congratulations are definitely in order to all three of you.....
HOLY WOW!!! Congrats Blueoak on an awesome buck and congrats to your family members as well. Definitely a trip you will always remember. Thats settles it, Im saving my $$$ and going to Mexico!!!
That is just a great hunt! What makes it even more special IMO is that it was a family affair. Congrats to all of you. I don't know that I've ever seen or heard of a party having such great wall-to-wall success. Big-time congrats.
