Collared Bighorn Sheep Question

Will all collared rams have some damage to the cape or are there a few that may have very minimal? What have you guys seen?

Usually have a very noticeable rub, especially on older rams. I would rather shoot a slightly smaller ram that didn't have a collar than shoot a slightly larger ram with a collar. Either way it will be the biggest sheep in your house. Best of luck on your hunt.

i would probably have the sheep mounted with the collar. im sure F&G would not let you keep it. but maybe you could get a fake one or broken or something
