I have 6 antelope points and according to a little research it seems like any unit that is drawable with those few points have very limited public land. Is that the case or is my research flawed?
 
Nope not really wrong… couple units you could draw are real busy… better units are around the 10 point and up mark… well this year, who knows what it will look like I think residents are getting 75/25 splits so that will effect some things too depending if you are a res or not

I am in the same boat as you. 7 resident points and the unit we were aiming for got wiped out by winter kill. Now my son and I are lost. We would love a trespass hunt but cant even find that.
 
that WAS the case a few years ago that there were a handful of units with decent public land. Winter kill and too many tags in the opportunity units crushed them. Tags got cut and my 5 point unit I was a sure thing to draw last year suddenly took 9 points. I'll look at the odds but I think it's gone to a double digit antelope state - or pay to play.
