I was wondering if anyone had some experience with any of the early rifle tags in Colorado over the past few years that would be willing to share their experience with me? I'm sitting on a pile of points and wanting to burn them next year on an early season tag.
I know the early rifle tags are probably not what they used to be but so is the entire state in my opinion. My thoughts were i had a good chance to have a great summer in the high country trying to scout a big buck and have a chance to get him killed early. Minimize the need to depend on weather and rut activity in the 3rd and 4th season hunts.
I'd appreciate any feedback or advice from someone that has had one or been apart of an early hunt in the past few years.
