Hey guys, I used to be active on this with a different username (long since de-activated) site years ago when I was living in ID and Utah during and soon after college. I have since moved away and spent the last 7 years elsewhere in the West.
Well I have an opportunity to go to Boise for work with a decent job. I have not spent much time in Boise, always lived in Eastern ID. I am interested to hear from some of you locals on how it compares with hunting and fishing opportunity and quality, particularly for kids (my boys are 8 and 9 right now). Does it feel like a big city? One of the things I really like about Idaho is that it was always a smaller town, but I am not sure it will feel that way in Nampa/Meridian/Boise.
Any thoughts are much appreciated and good luck to everyone with whats left of the fall.
