I am thinking about buying one of these for a upcoming elk hunt. I live in WA State so I can also use it here for hunting, just take scope off when I'm done in AZ. What are your thoughts good/bad about this gun and what loads for elk up to a 200 shot? Thanks in advance for any help.

Its actually a pretty good gun from the owners i've talked with. Im not sure what projectiles you are limited too but there are a lot of rounds out there you can put together that will do well in that rifle.
Its not blackhorn209 friendly unless you do some modding but pyrodex or triple 7 will all work perfectly in it.
It will do great with both saboted and conical projectiles.
