don't know if it is still available, maybe a search on e-bay might come up with something. I use to use a Product called: Diesel Doctor but can't remember who the Manufacturer was.
Can you get Diesel #1 around that area? That will help some.
FPPF - Howes - Power Service. they all work and if you buy a case of Howes or Power Service and join their program and ever gell up they pay the tow bill. I just watch the temp and when it get's about 0 degrees F. I start putting in an additive and in 20 plus years have never gelled up. We have Diesel pick up's and big trucks.
LAST EDITED ON Mar-04-07 AT 10:02AM (MST)[p]Sorry Bob,
Didnt mean to leave you hanging on that for 6 weeks, I just dont come here very often anymore.
I use one of two types of additives, PowerService by DieselKleen in the white bottle is for winter time and I also use a product called Howe's. The PowerService in the red bottle (911) works if you are already gelled up, pour it in the tank and screw the lid off the filter and dose it up as well and let her sit for half an hour or so and it should fire, unless your fuel station sold you some really bad fuel. We had plenty of -30? temps this winter and I never had a problem with either one of the two products mentioned above. The new PowerService is rated for ULSD and all the new 07 model rigs.
Did OK on the 06 hunts......
Hope you and the boy were successful too, I miss some of you dorks.
Yup, the wife is still hunting with me each year. Both boys knocked down thier first muleys this year. Congrats to your boy on his buck this year, get him primed to hunt Nomad next year.
I dont really understand how or why a station could have been caught with thier pants down as late as January with summer blend still? But who knows. Maybe the fuel supplier hauled in some stuff from down south.
I'm just itching for spring to sprung, been doing a little riding on the warmer days so far but its still damn cold for that.
