Deer ML Book Cliffs

I drew a Mule Deer ML tag for the Book Cliffs. I have a T/C encore and I currently shoot pellets but Utah doesn't allow them. I was wondering what kind of loads you guys like for Mule Deer? Any advice on hunting the Book Cliffs? Thanks

Hunted it in 2006 with muzzleloader. Had a blast and took a nice buck. You live in the Utah area? PM me for more info and locations.

I shoot an encore. I put 3 50 gr. pellets under a 180 grain sabot and it shoots out there pretty quick. Ive been thinking about loading it a little lighter on the powder though. Killed several deer with that set up.

Hunt high in the Book Cliffs and work down into the thicker stuff too. Just go start sorting through the bucks until you find one you like. You will see plenty. Finding a big one is a challenge, but you will surely find a nice respectable 4 point. Good luck. Ill be hunting out there with my wife.
