Delores triangle deer hunt.

Today is the opener of the Delores rifle hunt. Any luck or MM'ers on the unit?

With the weather, wondering if many of the bucks have moved over from Colorado unit 40. Hope the hunt is successful for anyone with a tag.

Hope they move soon. Son has one of the 4 muzzy tags in there in a week and a half.

Hoping the few small snow storm and and colder weather will help!!!

10 days with my son enjoying the wall tent and the outdoors will be great. With only 4 tags it will be interesting if the deer show.

Hunted it last year. Most of the deer moved in early due to early snow storms.

Learned the unit with older son and made some great memories with him with a great buck.

Hoping a few have moved in and will keep coming for the next couple weeks.

We will make it enjoyable and memorable no matter what.

Sent my son's tag back in. He didn't seem to have much interest. He's going to school and working, so a bit difficult for him. I'd be curious to hear if anyone had any success.

Wish you had kept it so you could tell me what the muzzleloader hunt has in store for my son starting next wed. Hopefully the rifle hunters save a few good ones for us 4 muzzleloader hunters!!! I will let you now what we see.

Thanks Elk. Should help the deer hunting. Hope it brings a couple good ones into the unit. Getting excited and things ready to head out first of the week for Wednesday opener.

My buddy and I went for a ride to Dolores today. There’s a good 8” of snow at the Utah, Colo, boarder from the storm last night into this morning. Lots of deer at the top of the unit spread out to the Dolores river rock. You are in for a great hunt!

Great hunt. Spent 8 days on the hunt. Tagged his buck on 5th day.

Just finding this thread now. Great Buck! My son had a tag in Delores 5 years ago and got a nice buck. We as some other good bucks as well. It's a fun place to hunt. Interested if you guys were able to see many bucks?
