Came up from Lake Havasu to Nampa for the Holidays. Had to lay in my years supply of Holiday Prime Rib steaks and roasts. Managed to get a 22# and 24# roast. Yep, $4.97 was the best we could find here in the Boise area too. Guess I'm fixing St Louis style beef ribs tonight.

Cheaper than stew meat.
Don’t need to pay someone to cut and wrap it.
20 Prime Rib Steaks
3 Prime Rib Roasts
2 Beef Ribs
You can’t grow one that cheap.

Right place, right time, right mind.

Full price - 46# at $14.97 equals $688
I paid 46# at $4.97, or $228. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Heck, I spend that much on a two day deer hunting trip, when I DON'T get anything!!!

AZOutdoorWriter and I agreed on something, when It came to food. Maybe I'll go buy some clams just for him (and me).
