E Interstate Antelope Bow Hunt

LAST EDITED ON Jun-17-10 AT 06:41PM (MST)[p]I drew this tag on my second choice. I have always wanted to bow hunt for antelope so I guess this is my chance. Does anyone have any advice they would like to share about this hunt? Experiences? Did you see any antelope? Should I go down and knock on some doors? I have a map of the unit because I hunt deer in it. I drew the Buck tag this year also. I have only seen antelope on private land and a couple on public. A friend lives down there so Im definately going to call him and see what he says. Any info is much appreciated. I have hunted the Malheur River unit a couple times for antelope so I would be willing to share some info, if ne one has info on the E Interstate hunt. PM me if you would like.

PS archery + antelope = find watering hole and setup a blind!

 

[Wanted]

That hunt has way too much water in it to even think about hunting over water. There is a river (Chewacan) as well as alot of marsh land. Best bet is to decoy one and good luck with that being right after rifle season.
