The kids were coming back thru town, on their way home to Craig Colorado, and stopped over here at Mom and Dad's. The Boy Child has been fighting these wildfires out West for 80-100 hours a week since May, and I gave them their choice of any food they wanted me to fix. His choice - lots of tender delicious meat, sweet corn, and sweet potatoes with brown sugar and cinnamon!!! I know how to do that. Another prime whole sirloin (4 hours at 225 degrees), and fire up the garage ovens!!!

Looks delicious! Where would a guy get a whole sirloin? I'm assuming it's like tri tip.....only better?

I get them all the time at Sam's Club. One of the few places that carries PRIME grade meats. They don't usually put them out in the cooler, but keep in the back. They generally run about 6-9# in the bag. Right now, I've been paying around $8/lb
