When is the ideal time to look for elk sheds.I've only found one shed in my life and it was a huge bull and I wasnt even looking for them. We just happened to be hiking and stumbled upon it. Ever since then I've really wanted to get into it. I'm just not exactly sure when they start to drop them. My guess would be mid to late March. Am I right or is that too early?
