Who is planning a muzzleloader elk hunt this year ?
I am planning to hunt somewhere in NW Colorado for cow elk.Depends where I draw a tag.

With 3 points, I hope to draw a bull or either sex tag.

venor, ergo sum (I hunt, therefore I am)

I'm with TX, but it'll be my wife that has the tag.

TALL, WIDE, AND HANDSOME

I also have 1 point for elk ,but in NW Colorado that may get you a cow tag. A bull tag takes several points where I hunt.

I've got one point for CO too. I think I can draw a bull tag in 55, where I usually hunt, but I'm not sure what I'll do. I'm considering saving up a few points for a better unit. I might try to pull a 2nd choice cow tag. I have a new CVA Optima I'd like to take out.

I applied for ML elk here in NM for 1st and 2nd choice. Since all of my tags are low percentage chance of draw, I am not holding my breath. But, if I draw, it should be a good outing.

Already bought my landowner tag for unit 15 NM this year and I'm going to try to draw a 231 muzzy in nevada this year.I've been hunting unit 15 the last two years in a row and had a blast each time.

This year points only because iI should draw muzzy dear that I have been waiting for a few years for. Had a blast last year chasing bulls in colorado though. Hope to do it again in a few years. My unit looks like about a 4 year wait.

I likely will be applying for ML cow here in NV with my dad. Hopefully we can both apply again this year. We only put down one choice so that we don't get caught in a pickle with two tags in different areas during the same season. We like to set up camp for about 10 days and have a good time. No better time to be in the woods than late September!!

I have 4 cow points for Nv so should draw this yr. But... I might put in for archery instead. I guess I haven't decided yet.

4 CO points should get me an either sex tag in unit 71 this year. Still deciding on whether I should get a deer tag too.

A buddy and I are hunting muzzy bulls in a wilderness area. Already lined out a friend with mules to pack our bulls out!

>Hoping to pull a LE Utah tag I think the same tag andymansavage had last year.

Hopefully Muzzy Elk and Deer SE Colorado. 6 Deer Pts. and 5 Elk Pts.
Just got my new Accura so looking forward to putting it to the test.

Got 10 points for colorado, putting in for unit 67! Going with dad and brother, dad should be drawing deer muzzy tag in 67 also.

I am saving up for CO, will have three for deer and elk after this year. Probably burn the elk in the next few years on a muzzy tag, depending on what other tags come around...

putting in for sw cascades late season elk muzzy tag, should be good-nov 12 thru 18th.
got a spot I've been hunt'n for many years, just not this late in the year. (somewhere in oregon!)

Just found out I drew the one and only non resident Muzzy tag in the Beaver unit in Utah! I'm stoked! Only had two bonus points, so luck was definately on my side.

Well, its not an elk tag, but I did draw a muzzleloader antelope tag. Good luck guys!
