Ever found one like this?

Took my son out a couple weeks ago. Did a lot of hiking hoping for some elk. Only found one but it made us laugh. We crossed a little stream 50 yards from the bike to start the morning and seen tips poking out of the creek bed. Thank god I was by the bike. Had to run back and get my mini shovel and still took a half hour getting it dug out of the rocks. It was buried around 10 inches deep by the time we got to the base.

This is how far I got digging it out by hand.

But I did find an Elk Shed in the bottom of a Trough up a Canyon I Hiked back in to!

The Shed had been in it for some time!

Damn thing was Heavy too!

I shoulda Sold it to a Horn Buyer before it dried out!

Still can't figure out why somebody didn't find it years before I did?





The Dew I had for Breakfast wasn't Bad so I had one more for Dessert!

I have found moose antlers in water, but if they are buried in the muck I don't bother with them because their quality suffers too much.
