Traverlers of the west................... where do you eat, coming and going.
Coming back from Alberta in July, we spent a night in Great Falls, Montana. Did a TripAdvisor search for a good restaurant. A place called Jaker's Bar and Grill rated pretty high on the list. Now............ as y'all know, all Bar & Grills are not created equal. I've tried more than one that was uninspiring, to say the least..... other's have been great.
Jaker's in Great Falls, was off the charts outstanding. Warm western atmosphere. A great salad bar, a soup bar with 4 or 5 choices of amazing concoctions. The lobster bistro was absolutely out of this world. Best soup I've ever tasted. Followed by a ribeye that rivals Steve's Steak House meat, here in Richfield.
I see there are other Jaker's Bar and Grill in other Montana and Idaho cities. Been wondering if their menu is as good as the one in Great Falls. Anyone been to a different Jaker's.
So............ what's your favorite place to chow down, while moving about the west? I'd hate to drive by a winner, and settle for a Subway or a bag of Flying J's deep fried gizzards, if I'm ever in the neighborhood.
