Group Drawing Question

When applying as a group in Colorado, your chances of drawing are based on the guy in the group with the least number of preference points. Given that fact, here is my question:

If you apply with a group in which there is a hunter with zero points, and the group is awarded your first choice tag, do the hunters who had points going into the draw still loose their points even though they had no influance on the results of the drawing?

Anybody know?

FM,

The way I understand it, if you draw your first choice you use your points. What you are describing is "point banking" which is no longer done.

Yes, all the hunters in the group will lose all of their points no matter how many each of them had.
