I have to Second what Coyote Chaser said. If those photos are a good indication of the vegetation they live in, your best bet will be to ambush them.
When hunting deer you have to get close to, there are only three things to worry about: Can they see you, can they hear you, and can they smell you? If you are sneaking in on 5 bucks, the chances that one of them is going to hear you is higher and the chances that one of them will see you is higher, even if you come in from down wind.
If you can find an ambush point, and position yourself down wind from that point, you already have that advantage going for you. Then, if you are sitting still, you aren't making noise, so that's advantage number 2. And finally, by holding still in concealment, you reduce the likelihood of being seen drastically, even by 5 bucks.
Try and pattern where they move to in the morning, or in the evening. Then get set up 30-50 yards downwind of their usually trail and wait. Patiently. Trust the method. If they don't happen by the first time, go back the next day and do it again...
Good Luck..!! He's a dandy.!!
