Come on guys and gals post em up! Big, little, bear, antelope, elk, deer, we don't care, we just want to se them! Be proud this is one of the best states for hunting in the country! If you have a story to go with them even better!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-13-18 AT 01:16AM (MST)[p]Hunted this bull in his summer early fall area, could not turn him up, or another bull that was there. Found him about 3 miles down and across river, cow called, and bull grunted him in to 35 yds. He ran out of thick willow, rosebush bottoms and did me a favor for his final resting place.

Wow, congratulations!!! Great bull! Don't you love it when a hunt works out like that? What unit did you take him in? I'm thinking of putting in for a moose hunt!

I did not fill a tag yet but this is my buddy from works buck. We went out after work opening day. He hasn't hunted for a few years due to school and such so I invited him to go with me. We only had a few hours to hunt and I was getting a little worried because we I had almost always at least seen some does in the area we went. 45 minutes into hiking we came across a hunter gutting a deer and he told us of a buck that was bedding just down the hill that didn't go very far after he shot the buck he was gutting. We quickly spotted the buck and got into position. I am kicking myself now, but in the moment it seemed like the right thing to do and give my buddy the first shot. It was only a 160 yd shot. He aimed right behind the shoulder and after what seemed like 5 minutes of deep breathes and readjusting he finally pulled the trigger. Missed the shoulder but hit it right in the neck and the buck dropped. Fun evening. Now to get all my gear ready for my dad bull tag next week.

Deepcolor, awesome! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures! I love the smiles on those kids faces, I think the llamas are smiling too! Nothing like enjoying hunting with family.

Htoutdoors, great pics! I love when a plan comes together! It doesn't have to be a week-long Backcountry adventure to have a great hunt! Now it's your turn!

Here is my 2018 Idaho general mule deer. It's been an awesome season for me this year. I am very fortunate and incredibly blessed.

Here is my 2018 Idaho general season archery bull. This is the first big game animal I have harvested using archery equipment, and I took him in the same spot my (15 year old) son harvested his first bull last year (also archery). Also my biggest bull.

Love these pics, hunters excited for the sake of hunting!! Keep them coming. Unfortunately I have not pulled a trigger, though I have enjoyed some great days and watched some family/friends have luck.
