Mine wasn’t an animal attack but Saturday morning, two hours before light I put on the pack, reach in the back seat and pull the rifle out of the case and NO RIFLE SLING!!! Son of a B*TCH!!! Of all the things to forget, this was a new one. Left it off the rifle triple checking the scope and didn’t put it back on. Another reason to take opening weekend off.
