Is there permits for Audad on public property, or is it all private hunting.

Just looking into hunting and Audad, not sure I would spend $8000 on an Audad hunt, much rather go on a whitetail hunt or mule deer hunt. Just curious if there is a cheaper way to go hunt these animals.

the hunt is in the palo dura canyon and devils river SNA and also one other area

Palo Duro State Park and Caprock Canyon both have good numbers, but hard to draw

Have you looked at New Mexico?

You need to read up on the TPWD system to see how it works for the future.

There also might be cheaper private land hunts in the Hill Country, but that could be more feeder hunting than spot and stalk.

Had this guy show up on my feeder cam. No idea where he came from, have never seen one anywhere near our little ranch. I doubt he shows up again but…..
