Late season moose hunting

Finally drew a moose tag in Wyoming after 11 years. Will probably spend a few days hunting during the archery season but plan on hitting it hard during the rifle season in the last two weeks of October. I've heard moose can be alittle harder to hunt this late so hoping some of you moose savy gals and guys might have some tips on locating them late season. Thanks!

Actually, its my favorite time of the season. They are still hunting cows, the cold temps keep them out all day, and the glassing in snow is superb. Plus, they slide like crazy in a sled back to the truck!!!

I don't consider this late at all, but coming into prime time. Killed my WY bull on Sept. 19th. I would hunt hard with the bow. Moose are probably the most ?doable? animal with archery equipment with the possible exceptions of caribou or baited bears.
