After spending about 60 hours behind the Nikon spotter this year, then taking 1 look thru a Leica, it wasn't hard to figure out...gotta get a new one this year. Which ones do you guys have experience with and which one do you like if you had to choose? Keep in mind it will travel in the backpack, so the looooong Swaros are probably out. Right now i kind of like the sounds of the new Leica APO 62mm. What do you think?

I spend countless hours behind a spotting scope. I use a Leica Televid 77 with a 20 to 60 power eye peice. I prefer the extra power over the 62 mm scopes. I've had all three, Leica, Swarovski, and Zeiss all lined up at the same time on a hunt. There is so little difference it hard to tell which is better. I also don't see enuff of a difference to spend the extra money for the APO over the non APO. The best thing about the Leica is it's the cheapest of the three. I paid $1025 for my Leica. Hope this helps
