Can you give up your secrets on the lightning pics? From a video camera, or just good timing? I have had "timing" issues in the past; and my video has always experienced what I guess you could call a surge / flicker when lightning strikes. Would love to get some of those high-desert shots; especially at night.

My "secret" is taking about 100 bad pictures and getting two keepers with my digital hp! Just got a Lumix FZ 20 so maybe I will get even better ones the next time there is a storm.
