Looking to burn points in 2009

Looking to burn 2 prefernce points (non-resident) for muleys in 2009. What do you guys think would be the best unit and season to burn the points. I realize that I'm only burning 2 points, but I would just like to try a preference point unit rather than a over the counter unit.

You and many others are trying to figure out what to do. It is going to be all over the map because of the winter kill.

I was planning on using my points in 2010, currently I am not sure that will be a good idea. I am not sure this will get back to any place close to normal in just a couple of years.

To get an answer on this site or some answer, you might want to narrow down your weapon choice and they type of ground you want to hunt. It is difficult to get answers anyway, it is impossible without being specific.

You can look at the statistics from the past as a guide for two points also.

It is really more of a gamble now after the winter kill. Some had a good hunt this year, but many more than usual were shocked by the lack of sign and deer seen.
