I would personally fly down instead of driving. Cost is now $3,800 for fully guided, meals, lodging, transportation during the hunt and trophy care, add Coues for $2,200. 5 days for Mule Deer only or 10 days for both. About anytime after the first of January is when we conduct hunts. I usually take one group down of 3-4 hunters each year, only. I have only had 1 guy who came down with a bow and he was not successful. I thought he would b e and he was very patient. He sat stock watering tanks and had several deer come in, and one evening a huge buck, not sure how big only huge is what he said. He hung up at 50 yards and they guy was reluctant to try the shot, he had no gun with him. He borrowed a gun the next evening and never saw the buck again, but all of my gun hunters have connected.
