Milford Flats Doe Antelope

Me and my wife drew these tags this year for the hunt that started Aug 1. We went down last weekend and were unable to find a single doe on the unit public or private. We did see 8 bucks, but no does. Just wondering if anyone has hunted this unit before and knows if this is common for that area or if the antelope numbers are down for that area.

Trying to decide if its worth making a trip back down this weekend, I was really hoping I could get my wife an antelope as we are expecting a baby in november and she is not going to be able to get much hunting in this fall.

Any info would be appreciated.

Where have you been hunting down there?

When I lived down there (which has been almost 10 years ago) there were always a bunch of doe's just west of the golf course. Usually hanging in farmer's fields but they were there.

I looked over the majority of the unit several time, I saw 4 bucks by the golf course and 1 buck in the fields, but was unable to find a doe anyware on the unit. A friend of mine had the tag a few years back and said they were all over, both public and private, so I was wondering if there has been a major decline in the population or if they move on and off the unit and they are just not there right now.

That's interesting. Wish I had more up to date info that I could help you out with. Use to be while out golfing we'd see 1-2 dozen antelope out in that field.

No idea if this is in your area or not, but a few minutes ago there was a bunch west of the Kanosh exit on I-15.
