It's the owner of RMS Gear's son in Arvada Colorado. Those guys are the best out there. I don't know where he hunts...but hes got a great otc area. Don't know if it's the same area I saw pics from last year.
My brother shot that bull. It was on public land and he was hunting alone. The story and pictures are posted on the blog on our website, http://rmsgear.com.
It sounded like one heck of a hunt its a great read I would recommend checking it out, I really liked the fact that it was about the hunt and the animal and not the hunter.
I've only met him and his dad once for about an hour as we BS'd in their shop. They are top notch people. They are passionate about our sport and sharing their knowledge. Hardcore!
Congrats to the hunter and to his father for raising what seems to be a great family and running a great business. I was going to make some comment about how hard the pack-out was on such a big animal until I read that both of the brothers were D1 wrestlers and one a 2x All american, so the pack-out probably was easy compared to all those college work-outs.
Love your hunting philosophy and glad to see it was rewarded with such a great animal.
