It is just blowing ash and steam. The bad part is it took me 9 points to draw a cow tag for the unit across the street from the Johnson point observatory which is where they ran every body out of the other day. It better do its thing in a hurry my hunt starts on Nov 6th.
Hell, I hunt the Smith and Bean Creek drainages and that is where all of the ash is blowing today. Opening day we counted 48 bulls just inside the park and 8 outside. I hope that those boys have the good sence to get the hell out! They have the 99 road shut down to keep people out. I heard that they might have that whole area (maybe as far as Souxion and Indian Heaven wilderness blocked off during rifle season. As of now, it sounds like the 99 road will be closed for the rest of the year. There will be a ton of nice, unmolested bulls left up there for next year.
