With-in Arizona, what would have the greater percentage during archery hunts?

Deer harvested while he is standing/walking.

Deer harvested while in his bed.

Just curious and thanks.

all of my archery bucks have been walking and i grunted to stop them.

Thanks for the feed back hunter1. Do you think most bucks are harvested while walking? I ask only because I am heading down to the Valley in the morning and considering picking up another 3D target ( bedded buck type )

i would say 80% are shot standing, i would get the stand target. just my 2 cents worth.

Oh I agree, I have the standing buck target now. It was just a thought. I'm the guy who always has the empty freezer and I would really like to change that this year. I'm clutching at straws I think.

My buddy who drew a bull tag this year has all ready claimed it. Sorry and its ok to laugh!!!!! I laugh at myself all the time.... when it comes to hunting, its all I have it seems. Thank God I enjoy being out there as much as I do!!!!!

Now thats funny!!!!! But sorry, I wouldnt do that to you or anyone else. I just need to hunt smarter and scout better. Two hours into a hunt and I'm worried about the damn office. Its a real drag.

Thanks for the offer of your help. I never turn learning down. Let me throw this out there. Due to work and the fact that I did not draw out, I wont be hunting until the late archery season. That said, is it TOO early to start scouting the area I am thinking about?

it never too early to scout the more country you learn the better off you will be, plus you could get out and find some sheds to see what kind of bucks you have in an area.

Well said. Well, I better hit the sack. Going to try and beat the Anthem traffic in the morning. I remember when you could have bought that land for nothing!!!! Anyway, thanks for your help. If you have the time tomorrow evening, I'd like to talk about scouting techniques.
