Why does it say 23 posts after your name if this is your first post?

The way the program is set up it updates the number of posts next to your name to the current total you have made.

Yes, I get it. Hence, if it is his first post, as he stated, why does the program indicate he has made 23 posts?

I believe the number of posts updates, regardless of what number it was when it was posted. Do a search on his username and it appears 22 posts have been made--here and there--since the original one here.
