Nikon Team Primos Riflescope

I am looking to buy a scope for my son-in-law. I already have three Buckmasters but I thought I would ask if any of you have one of the Team Primos and what you thought of them? Any information would be much appreciated.

I believe they are the "old" Monarch's badged with the Primos name. Pretty sure that's what I read on Optics talk a few days ago. I was scope hunting and did a ton of research and bought the Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40. Seems way clear and crisp edge-to-edge. and it may help give you a "list" of where the Monarch falls as far as glass quality goes.
