NM Coues Deer

On Nov. 2nd I was lucky enough to put my tag on this giant of a Coues Deer. I got really lucky...not much more to say.
I measured this buck at 116 1/2 gross. Now I am going to have to have someone double check me. I knew he was big, but not that big. Sometimes its all just being at the right spot at the right time.

The second photo is of the three bucks our hunting party took on opening morning.

Holy smokes what a buck! And to get him in NM in one of the "non-whitetail" units is pretty impressive. A trophy of a lifetime for sure. Congrats!
