NR Bonus Point?

Do I need to front the 350 dollars or whatever the full price of a tag is for a BP? Last year was my first year of applying and we did not draw. I was wondering if I had to front the money for a point again or buy a NR license or what the fees are for a BP. Thanks for the help. Either way I am applying, I just dont want a tag I am already busy those dates.

You do have to front the entire cost of the tag to get the preference point. You can select PP as your 1st choice which will guarantee that you won't get the tag, just a point and then they will send most of that back in June or so.

By the way, it is not a bonus point, it is a preference point.

The not buying a lic is attributed to having a lic last year correct?

No, in Colorado you do not have to buy a license to buy a preference point. If you had any license last year, all you get charged for the point is $3. If you didn't, they charge you $25 (+ $3) for the point
