So some of the banks are ready to pay back the TARP money so they can get the obama administration out of their business and obama refuses to let them.

Anyone else see anything wrong with this?

Forget what "team" you chose to vote for, instead ask yourself what policies you want to see implemented. The original post reveals a great deal about the Obama endgame -- complete government control.

This administration is putting through legislation that will give the government the ability to regulate all salaries (see the House bill passed last Monday). This administration is running car companies, illegally. This administration is trying to control the production of all power and regulate the movements of all people -- "cap and trade." This administration is pushing the end of secret ballots for union voting -- "card check." This administration is trying to tell us that the Mexican border problems are a result of our gun rights, and lying about the % of guns coming from the US (along with the grenade launchers and such, most are Chinese made). It goes on and on. This administration wants to put an end to the greatest health care industry this planet has ever enjoyed.

Yes GWB screwed many things up. His biggest screw up was opening the door to the end of our freedoms and traditions. If you like the policies being pushed above, Obama is your man. Moreover, all these policies will be law in the next couple of months. Like the article states, the banks are now nationalized. If this "change" doesn't scare the crap out you...

Hey ziggy wiggy, if you makes you feel better, I thought Bush was a big spending fascist. Neither Bush or Obama could give a rip about we the people or the US Constitution. A document they swore to defend and follow.... of course very few politicians and Americans do either. I bet you think its an old outdated rag as well?

BTW, yes Bush was a big spender. A Facist, no. Facism is defined as "private ownership with central government control." Mussolini, Hitler, and Franco were Facists. And, facism is leftist as is communism. Bush, or Howdy Doody if you will, had no core.

Point taken. When you look at that definition, what you have now is fascism. ie, the banks, gm, chrysler and who knows what industry will be next although I would bet the oil/gas companies. I do believe the next step after fascism is outright government ownership or communism.. correct?
