This was around the Elk Mountian area just above Upper Lake.Hope to get some pics this trip with the digital camera this year. Now I have to get a scanner for all the old photos. Man it never ends huh?

Been over that road many of times from U.P. to Pillsburg Lake while working. A short-cut instead of back to Potter Valley and over the hill and back on logging road or county road to Pillsbury.
Use to work on the dam and log-boom at dam on Pillsbury. Don't have to do that anymore but miss running around on the lake in the 14' Klamath with a 10 HP Honda outboard, been on all of the small tributaries feeding into the lake.
The winters were bad up there trying to regulate the lake level for F&G and FERC.
There is even a group or should say there was Elk on the north end of Lake by the gravel air strip. One nice Bull up there back in 2000 the last time I was there "on the job".
