My dad should draw this tag has enough points, tag for elk in the Heppner unit muzzleloader tag. Any body had this tag or thoughts on this hunt would be great help. Thanks

Hunted heppner since 1993 with all it's ups and downs. Moved to sled springs two years ago Dad's in his seventy's and it's just to thick for him. Harvested two spike and two 5points and one ow over the years. All on or within 1/2 mile of big baldy. Hunted down by Tupper and across highway by the lake always lots of elk but if it was my tag I would pound the Baldy's there are multiple wallows in the area and lots of cool dark timber to relax in when there done feeding on open slopes!
