Am I allowed to hunt coyotes in Colin Neblett?


According to the NM wildlife website "Hunting is allowed for deer, elk, bear, turkeys and small game during open seasons with valid licenses and permits."

With coyotes being all year round and me having a valid hunting license, would everyone else agree it seems I can hunt them?


It looks cut and dry, but I'd rather ask and sound silly than go and be wrong!

Don't trust any response here!

Definitely call G&F and check. There was a big stink few years ago where hunting coyotes on state land was in question.

Coyotes ARE NOT considered small game, so by the definition you included I do not know.
