I came across 2 (what appear to be) 24" unfired .338 fluted barrels. The threads are 7/8" diameter and have 13 threads per 3/4".

Wtf do these go to?

Sorry, I have more questions than answers. (some to satisfy my curiosity and some you should want to have answered)
Came across them, how?
Are they chambered or just threaded?
What brand barrels are they?
You'll have to determine if they're of high enough quality to throw a little money around to get them on a rifle....if that's your goal.
Have a qualified "smith" check the thread pitch and they can tell you what they might fit.

Bought them from a guy who purchased a bunch of stuff from an estate sale. The barrels have basically no markings on them but are 338 bore.
Was going to attempt a a 338 06 but Ive since abondoned that project and picked up a nice 338 Win mag.

Found out these are Weatherby barrels for a 6 lug in 338-06. Odd caliber caliber to have 3 of, maybe the original owner had REAL hard on for the 338-06? ?
