Who feels it would help the herds out if the dwr out a shed season in place with very stiff fines if caught? I have been shed hunting since I could drive. The last three years has been the worst I have ever seen it. I see post on FB of people going out in December and January trying to find sheds. It's not fair to the game in those areas. One of my all time favorite honey holes is no longer a secret. I took my three year old daughter out to go for a drive in the hills. Didn't see but two does in an area where we would have seen close to a hundred deer. Decided to get out and take her for a little walk to look for sign. The only sign I saw was boot tracks and atv tracks. I'm getting sick of all the good winter areas getting pounded so early an pushing the animals out of the area. I would love to see the western states out a season into place. With penalties similar to poaching. Maybe it would keep the idiots at home so the herds can have a decent winter with out being pushed all over the mountain. I'm just ranting and pissed off how social media has destroyed something I grew up being very passionate about.
