Well, it wasn't quite out of my window, but about a 3-mile drive away. I owned a resort near Durango, CO at the north end of Vallecito Lake. That photo was taken along the Pine River, about two miles up from where it feeds into the lake.
It's not quite autumn, but the photo below is actually what I saw out my kitchen window. It was taken about 100 yds. down the road from my driveway on the Vallecito River looking north into the Weminuche Wilderness Area. -TONY
