Single or double?

Grinding up some caribou meat and was wondering if you single or double grind your burger meat? I always start with a course grind than again with a fine grind….

I course grind with some pig lard for burger. now when making sausage I double grind, add the spice between
and stuff the casings.

He has plenty of practice on hand cranking.,,, it even stunted his growth….

Course then medium. I don’t care for the fine plate. Almost makes the meat mushy.

I add 15% bacon to my burgers when I grind. No other fat. Because of that I constantly get people asking me for meat!!

same here, I buy the bacon ends 3 lb packages.
I have also added boneless country style pork ribs to elk when I grind. ( once medium plate). If I’m stuffing casings I’ll double grind
