It seems the visitors to this website are a very helpful bunch, so I thought I would pose a rather extensive question. I have six points in Colorado for elk, should I cash those in or wait? If so, where? Also, I am wanting to apply in every state I can. I have already submitted for Utah and Wyoming. As for Nevada, Montana, Idaho, and New Mexico, can those who are knowledgeable about these states clue me in. I read the huntin fool magazine, but sometimes I don't think it tells the whole story. I am wanting what most serious hunters want, solitude - which usually comes with a limited tag, a large number of animals, and a good chance to take an elk in the 300 to 350 inch class. I prefer muzzleloader but enjoy archery and will use a rifle in the right unit. Thanks for any help you can offer.
