Snow April 2022 vs April 2023

I'm sure sme of you have seen this already..

I once had an old timer tell me that the “older timers“ used to say it wasn’t summer until all the snow patches we’re not longer visible on lake mountain when looking across utah lake. I remember looking at it mid April of last year and thinking summer is here. I was just looking at it this morning and there are shady side snow patches clear down to the benches. There’s gonna be water run helter skelter here in about mid May.

Pineview reservoir last year was open water April 1st and right now it's covered in ice.
