Environmental justice is basically zoning. It’s talking about poor people (typically they’re speaking about minorities) living in industrial areas where there are higher concentrations of pollution. Kind of common sense to most of us since the three rules of real estate is location, location, location that poor people end up living in areas that have a lot of industry. But they want to spend big money to correct this zoning problem now. To my thinking if they didn’t want residential near industrial, they should have put zoning restrictions in the beginning
