spotting scope ?

I was wondering if there is a place you can send optics to get gass put back in them. also if you can have scratches removed?

LAST EDITED ON May-17-12 AT 10:53PM (MST)[p]It would be the company that manufactured them. The higher end glass will have a warranty that may cover a seal failure. Scratches, I expect, warrant replacement of the lens. If you have to pay out of pocket for all of the repair work, and the manufacturer will even do it, then you may find its just time to get a new scope for the cost.

What brand and model of scope do you have?

Call Cabela's. If the warranty covers it, they should cover the seal leak. I don't know who makes your model of scope. Meopta makes some and rumor has it that Sightron may make the BigSky. If the warranty covers the gas leak than odds are they'll just replace the scope, which of course takes care of the scratches as well...
