Swan Valley Moose

My brother in law drew a Swan Valley bull moose tag this year. We spent three days around Mike Spencer Canyon without much luck. Anyone willing to share some info on a once in a lifetime tag? Any help would be appreciated.

No moose info but I love that canyon.

First of all, Moose is once in a lifetime, that tag certainly isn't! Tough unit to hunt for Moose. Do you have horses?
I would hit the trailheads at Palisades creek, big elk, Rainey creek and ask hikers, deer/elk hunters what they have been seeing. Most people are more than willing to help a Moose hunter.

If he is hunting mike Spencer canyon then Blacks Canyon is not in his hunting area. There are 2 unit 67 moose hunts
