At least you got what the second amendment was put in place for. It's already been infringed upon by not allowing us to own any weapon the govt. has ( not shooting for that) but the more they take the less they have to fear. Put yourself in a law enforcement or military mans position and tell me if you wanna go around knocking on doors to take weapons. The bigger the threat beyond that door the more seriously you look at your paycheck to risk ratio.
Guns will be taken by a slow attrition not overnight. First you and others who say this or that is not important to you so oh well, then registration, what's the big deal they will have my name and prints on file with a list of my guns, then they take the next and the next until you have none. But I'm sure the AR guys will be lining up to help you keep your chit cuz you were so helpful in them keeping theirs. Oh I guess you could just not register and hide them and never use them because you're scared to get caught and thereby never teach your kids and grandkids to shoot and love guns and hunting with the, in which case they won't give a chit when an executive order comes down that we no longer need guns and to defend yourself with one is likened to vigilantism (see England)..............
