Wanted to say thanks for a great deer hunt. Hunted the Beaver unit and took a nice 3x4 on my last day hunting. Saw lots of bucks and a couple of big boys. Looking forward to next year. All the other hunters I ran into in the back country were great.

Here is a picture. By far not the biggest I saw, but I am really happy especially for never stepping foot on the unit before. We saw one that was pushing 30" and a couple in the 25" range. Never got closer than 500 yards of the 30" and I blew a shot on a 25" in some really thick fog. Couldn't get the range finder to read in the fog so I shot for 60, but I guess he was 50. Loved seeing all the goats. Funny thing with them is that I thought they would be really hard to get to. The terrain they were in was fairly tame. More or less high altitude antelope. I am sure if I had had a tag they would have been in the nasty stuff.
