I was wondering when someone was going to mention Schaffer. Read an article someone did on him after he passed away, truly remarkable bowhunter. Cam may have him beat in the endurance running department, but Paul would have mopped the floor with Cam in the strength department. Paul and one of his hunting buddies hunted out of an old VW beetle. One day they came back to the car and low and behold they have a flat, upon further inspection they had no jack. Paul's solution to the problem was simple, he told the other guy, " I'll lift you change.", and he held the car the entire time while the other guy changed out the flat. Another story in this article he shot one of his mountain species (don't remember if it was a rocky Mt goat or one of his grand slam sheep) but the animal was going to take a head dive off a cliff, Paul scrambled over to the dying animal, grabbed a hind leg, and drug himself and the animal back up to safer ground. He shot a video camera lens out at a hundred yards (camera rolling, and this is back when video cameras were over a grand) on a hundred dollar bet. I could keep going on with the stories about this guy, but I will stop for now.
